In the first United States Surgeon General Report since 1994 nearly one in four high school seniors and one in three young adults under age 26 smoke despite 50 years of warnings.  While one in three young smokers will quit one of the others will die from tobacco related causes.  The SG went on to say that young bodies are more susceptible than adults to nicotine’s addictiveness and damage to organs.  The report concludes that the tobacco industry spends $10 billion in annual marketing!    What success stories have you had in helping some young person either quit or not smoke?
